Miss Lori:
Miss Lori has been teaching for over 25 years. She graduated from BYU in Early Childhood Education. She began teaching in a preschool in Kaysville, then in 2001 she opened her own. This has been her dream and she feels so lucky to be able to do it. She and her husband have 6 kids of their own, 5 girls and 1 boy, and one granddaughter who they adore. Miss Lori believes in the power of play and in children’s ability to learn on their own. She tries to maintain a classroom that is very much child directed. She wants the students to take ownership in their learning. For more about Lori’s philosophy, see here
Miss Casey:
Miss Casey is actually Miss Lori’s daughter! She has taught for six years as she has attended Weber State University. She will graduate in the Spring and will take what she has learned in her college classes to ensure all the students will have a safe and loving learning environment as she takes over the preschool in the next few years. The students already love Miss Casey! She is an amazing artist and the students lined up to have her draw a picture for them. She is also great at making paper airplanes and tall towers, which make her a favorite among all the students.
Miss Heidi:
Miss Heidi and Miss Lori grew up together. She started teaching with Miss Lori around 2003. Miss Heidi has 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys, and one adorable granddaughter. The students love Miss Heidi because she will sit for hours reading one book after another. Not only that, she is really good at making things out of play dough and making paper airplanes. Miss Heidi treats all of the students with great respect and love and will sit and talk to them for as long as they want. Miss Heidi is also very organized and keeps the preschool so clean and helps keep Miss Lori sane.
