Wow, I can’t believe it is Dec already. What a great year so far. We will have a pajama day/Christmas party on the 16^th. Students are welcome to wear their PJs this day. I’ll send home more info as it gets closer. This month we will start talking about rhyming, which is an important pre-reading skill. Reading rhyming books at home and making up silly rhyming words are good ways to reinforce this skill. And just a reminder as weather gets colder, we will still be going outside as often as the weather lets us, so make sure to send coats and jackets. Also, I will cancel school because of the weather if the school district does. I’ll send out a text to let you know if school is cancelled. One last thing, it is time that I start looking towards next Sept as I open up registration in January. I like to give returning students first choice, so I will have registration forms available for next Sept. this month.
