Another Great Start!

I always look forward to a new school year with excitement and a little trepidation. I will miss the students that moved on and hope the new students will enjoy our time together. And just like these new students, I feel a little nervous, not knowing what to expect with this new class. Since I am trying to leave my adult agenda at the door, I honestly don’t know what to expect for a new year until I meet the students and we spend some time together. So these first few weeks, or even the first month, will be spent building relationships, which will continue to develop throughout the year. And I’m happy to report we are off to a great start! I can tell this will be the best class yet! I say this every year, but it’s true. I feel like I get the best students and families! I didn’t get many pictures of the first couple of weeks. I was too busy playing with the kids, but we spent the time getting to know each other and the preschool. The art this first weeks were all open-ended, with the exception of the first initial sticker paper, but even that definitely got individualized as you can see in the pictures. So here’s to another great year!
