When debating how best to do preschool with the pandemic, I realized that being outside as much as possible would be best. And I was excited to do it because I knew the kids love to be outside. However, I was a little worried because I don’t have a lot of fun outside toys and equipment. I do have a fairly large area, thanks to being able to use some of my dad’s property. I had grand ideas on what I wanted, but was limited on time and money. So I worried that the kids would get bored easily with the few things I do have.

I am happy to report that my fears were unfounded. I should have just trusted them more. The wonders they found,

And the play they invented

Was so much better then the plans I had envisioned.
Here are other highlights of November (yes, I’m a month behind, hopefully I’ll get caught up over the Christmas break). The last picture shows how I am doing calendar this year. I set out that day’s date somewhere in the room, and as they find it, they put it on the calendar. Then at circle time we see what day we are on.
