This week we have been getting into the groove of preschool. We started jobs and I can tell the students are starting to feel more comfortable at school because I am starting to see their “real” personalities come out. This always makes me happy because it also shows that they feel safe here. The most important thing I can do this first month is to develop a trusting relationship with all the children.
The learning also continued. At the art table, not only was great art being made, but other discoveries were being made:
“Miss Lori, I made purple water. I used red and blue and the water turned purple.”
“Now my water is brown because I used yellow”

We worked on small motor and cognitive skills:
And of course, we practiced practical life skills, like cleaning up our messes (sorry for the blurry picture, my camera’s not the best and it is hard for it to focus with all the movement going on):
