Lesson 1- Taking turns:
A group of girls playing:
“Let’s sing. I’m first”
“You can’t be first all the time. That wouldn’t be fair!”

Lesson learned as evidenced in the next game, Princesses:
“How about being Ariel? Actually… I want to be Ariel”
“We can all be Ariel”
“Well, now we are all mermaids!”
And one last variation on taking turns, Sitting in the middle:
“Miss Lori, we both can’t sit in the middle. I want to sit by Abbie, but if Lucy sits there, I’m not in the middle”
Somehow, they figured it all out, because next time I look over, this is what I see (by the way, they are fishing with some big, dead weeds they found, see lesson 6):

Lesson 2- You can build a higher tower with help:
Lesson 3-If you make a mess, you need to clean it up:
“Miss Lori, where’s the broom, I need to clean up the chalk”

Lesson 4-Lids roll:
“Miss Lori, look at this!”
Lesson 5-Smoothing out sand:
“Go slow, like this”

Lesson 6-Make due with what you have:
Case in point, weeds make great fishing poles
And some other fun stuff we did
Can’t wait for next week’s lessons. I have no idea what they will be, I’ll just have to wait for the “experts” to figure it out.
