And so another year has started and we are ready to dive into learning! First I had to get through orientation (I love you parents, don’t get me wrong, but it can be a little intimidating to talk to you all) and then the fun can really begin. I’m so excited to start to get to know all these cute kiddos. And even though it has only been one or two days with them, I can already tell it is going to be a great year. I’m not going to lie, last year kinda wore me out. Not necessarily because of the students, I had some of my all time favorite people last year, but more because I was getting burned out. And I think it had to do with my doing 4 days a week for two years in a row. But I am fully refreshed and ready to go this year! We spent these last couple of days just getting to know each other and starting to build a trusting relationship. I need to get back in the habit of taking pictures I can post, since I don’t like to post pictures that show the student’s faces. But here are a few I got:
This weekend I am planning on getting the outside play area all set up, because I really think outdoor play is so important and I want to include more of it. So hopefully I’ll get it done and post some pictures.
