October

So I need to get better at posting. So much fun happened in Oct. I’ll try to recap as best as I can.

Art:

 

Normally, I like to provide open ended art projects versus crafts. But with Halloween there are too many cute craft type things to make. But as you can see, even with more specific things set out, the product is still so unique and original. My favorite is the ghost family and the spider or bats or both.

Sensory/science:

 

Water beads are always a hit. Exploring their property is also a great science activity. My neighbor found a pumpkin in the road that had been split open so it was perfect for some exploration. I even had some kids this year that were willing to get in there touch the gooey, slimy part.

 

All in all, it was a great month. We had our Halloween program, which turned out great, and it was fun to see all the costumes.
